The PSA Test

I got my PSA test with Australian Pathology while I was down in Parliament House Canberra earlier this week.

The PSA (prostate-specific antigen) test is a simple blood test that helps monitor prostate health. Elevated PSA levels can indicate prostate cancer, but they can also be linked to other conditions, such as infection or an enlarged prostate.
Early detection is key. Prostate cancer often shows no symptoms in its early stages, so regular checks are important, especially for men over 50, or earlier if you have a family history.

Take the time to get tested and talk to your doctor about what’s right for you. Your health is worth it. 💪🩸
