Member for Brisbane and Assistant Minister for Waste Reduction and Environmental Management Trevor Evans toured several locations in Longman on August 7.
It included a visit to BEIPA which received a Community Environmental Grant for its Water monitoring and marine debris collection project.
We visited Ozfish Unlimited Pumicestone Passage to check out the Shellfish restoration project which received a $20,000 Community Environmental Grant.
We also stopped by the Caboolture Region Environmental Education Centre (CREEC) which received a $16,000 Community Environmental Grant for the revegetation of Burpengary Creek.
