Terry Young was instrumental in securing a $3.5 million investment from the Coalition Government to construct three new football fields at the Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex. This funding will significantly expand the facility, complementing the existing fields and allowing for greater community use.

The project will enable the Caboolture Sports Football Club (CSFC) to continue its growth by providing additional training space and enabling both matches and practice sessions to be held after dark, thanks to improved lighting infrastructure.

The new fields and associated upgrades will be delivered in partnership with the Moreton Bay Regional Council. This initiative reflects the Coalition Government’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, enhancing regional sporting infrastructure, and building a stronger economy and brighter future for the residents of Longman.

Terry Young also expressed his gratitude to everyone who signed the petition in support of the project. Their voices played an important role in demonstrating strong community backing, helping to secure this vital funding.
