Bribie Island Bowls Club is seeking a Federal Government Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) grant to help fund massive upgrades to its current premises at Welsby Parade, Bongaree. It will feature new covered state-or-the-art synthetic greens and an extension of the existing clubhouse including a new carpark. There will also be additional meeting rooms for community groups to use at no cost.
The club’s playing membership continues to grow and it has more than 8000 social members.
I believe this project will be of tremendous benefit to the greater Bribie community.
