Beachmere residents will have better mobile phone coverage thanks to funding from the Coalition Government’s Mobile Blackspot program.

Telstra recently completed the installation of a small cell mobile base station to address an issue where some residents, particularly in the Beachmere Sands community, were feeling isolated because they could not contact friends and family.

I have been fighting to resolve this situation and with help from Former Minister for Regional Communications Mark Coulton, I’m delighted that Telstra has now completed the new infrastructure.
