A big thank you to staff and students at the Australian Christian College for inviting me to cut the ribbon on the school’s new outdoor learning space.
The school received $11,305 in Federal funding to help establish the new veggie gardens from the Local Schools Community Fund.
And, I learned on the day, it’s not just the students learning about gardening, but the teachers as well!
Gardening is such a worthwhile experience and to be able to cook and eat the veggies you grow is a very satisfying feeling.
