I was honoured to attend the commemorative event at Queensland Parliament on Thursday celebrating 25 years of recognition for Australian South Sea Islanders.
It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the contributions and achievements of the Australian South Sea Islander community and to acknowledge their important place in Queensland’s history.
